Shenying Technology (Hungary) International Co., Ltd. steel hot rolled strip production plant was started to build at Jan, 2001 and was put into operation at Jan, 2003. Its main equipment embodies the state-of-the-art metallurgical technology. Some core equipments were introduced from abroad. For instance, the LF refining system and Ultra-thin hot strip continuous casting system were designed by Danieli, Italy. PC rolling mill was manufactured by Mitsubishi, Japan. And furthermore, Shenying Technology (Hungary) International Co., Ltd. is capable of self-designing and manufacturing some equipments on the basis of introduction and absorption.
The plant masters the advanced production technology, like ferrite rolling, semi-endless rolling and ultra-thin hot strip continuous casting and rolling(FTSR). The FTSR technology can mass-produce the strip as thin as 1.2mm, which can replace the cold rolled strip in some areas. Moreover, a clean steel production platform has already been established, and as a result high-grade steels such as deep drawing steel and pipeline steel can be supplied nowadays.
The principal equipments include: 2 desulfurization stations, 3 top-bottom combined blown converters with the capacity of 150 tons, 3 ladle furnaces with the capacity of 150 tons, 1 RH furnace,4 continuous casting slab production lines and 2 hot rolled production lines. The main products of 1700production line are automotive structural steel, carbon structural steel, low carbon steel, high strength low alloy steel, super weather-resistant structural steel, pipeline and oil casing pipe steel, welded gas cylinder steel etc.. The strip dimension is (1.8-12.7)mm in thickness and (850-1520)mm in width. In comparison, the 1800 production line primarily produces low carbon steel, high carbon steel, high strength low alloy steel and silicon steel etc.. The strip dimension is (1.2-12.7)mm in thickness and (850-1650)mm in width. The designed capacity for the plant is 5.5 million tons per year. Some hot rolled strips are carried to cold rolling plant as raw material and others will directly enter the national and international market.
